GTI is a contract manufacturing partner supporting customers in renewable energy, power generation, infrastructure, and industrial systems.
 
We fabricate custom designed, purpose-built enclosures and skids for our customers and perform mechanical and electrical integration in-house, delivering a true turn-key product to our customers. Our scope spans Engineering, prototype builds, through full production, requiring teams that can move fast, adapt, and execute with precision.

Role Overview As GTI scales production and expands our product portfolio, the alignment between sales, engineering, supply chain, manufacturing teams, daily operations, and our customers is critical to our long-term success. To support our rapid growth, we are looking for a Senior Program Manager who will be responsible for communicating daily with the customer on updates, as well as maintaining & overseeing project timeliness, budgetary constraints, and additional specifications. Have ownership over a sole, or multiple programs, driving accountability across departments for the overall success of the program.
 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Own the entire book to bill process for a specific customers order. Holding all departments accountable for deliverables
  • Track and Report Progress of Cross functional team executing each customer order
  • Drive communication and collaboration to successfully launch and maintain production
  • Manage the phase gate release process for each new product in a customer’s portfolio
  • Communicate requirements, changes, new orders and forecasts from customers to the internal team
  • Complete manufacturing projects by organizing and controlling project elements.
  • Work directly with other project/program managers, and the production team on factory floor to create build plans.
  • Work with engineering team to develop designs based on customers’ specifications, drawings, and/or high-level requirements.
  • Collaborate with production control to develop easy to interpret build plans for factory floor based on overall design.
  • Develop project objectives by reviewing proposals and plans and conferring with management.
  • Interface with customers’ technical teams to determine designs.
  • Determine project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements, assigning personnel to phases and elements.
  • Determine project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards.
  • Determine project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements.
  • Drive project and order schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
  • Control project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan, scheduling changes, and recommending actions. 
  • Ensure every project has a quality control and build plan
  • Control project costs by approving expenditures and administering contractor contracts.
  • Communicate customer demand and forecasts to production planning and ensure there is ample capacity for customers current and upcoming programs
  • Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, recommending actions. 
  • Maintain product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
  • Take overall accountability for execution of orders, including profitability
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Bridge all communication gaps between cross functional teams
  • Clear Roadblocks and ensure success of customer orders, projects and new product launches
Required Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s or Masters of Science in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction Management, or other related discipline
  • Experience with Engineered to Order or New Product Introduction processes
  • 8+ years of project experience working in the manufacturing of complex electro-mechanical systems
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite of tools, exposure to schedule software.
  • Experience with CAD, 3D modeling, and SolidWorks.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with medium to large manufacturing facilities sites preferred.
