Job description

Are you a Technical Program Manager who has fundamentally rewired how you work? At arrivia, we aren't looking for someone who simply "uses" AI tools occasionally. We are seeking an AI-native leader-someone who has redesigned their planning, communication, and software delivery workflows around AI-assisted capabilities.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between product vision and technical execution. You'll leverage AI copilots, automation platforms, and intelligent tooling to dramatically accelerate project throughput, improve forecasting accuracy, and elevate stakeholder communication. You won't just manage projects; you will model the future of technical program management.
What You'll Do
  • AI-Enhanced Planning: Translate strategic priorities into specifications and risk models using AI-assisted analysis to identify dependencies and surface blind spots early.
  • Accelerated Backlog Refinement: Collaborate with engineering to decompose requirements into technical stories, using AI to generate acceptance criteria and ensure high-quality definitions.
  • Predictive Delivery: Manage timelines and quality using AI-powered project analytics to provide real-time schedule health and early warnings on scope creep.
  • Strategic Communication: Use AI summarization tools to distill complex technical discussions into clear briefings for business units and IT teams.
  • Operational Excellence: Automate routine reporting and status dashboards through AI-generated summaries, reserving your time for high-value narrative insight.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive retrospectives using AI to analyze velocity trends and recurring blockers, recommending data-backed process adjustments.
  • Evangelism & Mentorship: Pilot new AI workflows and mentor other TPMs on moving from manual, repetitive tasks to AI-augmented processes while maintaining human oversight.

Who You Are
  • Professional Experience: 8+ years leading technical projects in cross-functional environments, with at least 2 years actively integrating AI tools into your daily professional workflow.
  • Technical Literacy: Strong understanding of the SDLC, modern CI/CD models, and methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
  • AI-Fluent: Daily hands-on experience with AI copilots (Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or equivalent). You can configure AI-enhanced workflows within Azure DevOps, Jira, Slack, or Teams.
  • Critical Thinker: You know how to evaluate AI-generated outputs, understanding when AI accelerates work versus when it introduces risk.
  • Educated: Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or Business (Master's preferred). PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are a plus.
  • Relationship Builder: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the emotional intelligence to lead change management around new ways of working.
