Strategic Programs Office | Digital Workplace
Role Purpose
The Governance, Standards & PMO Capability Lead is responsible for establishing and evolving the governance framework, operating standards, and program management capabilities that enable consistent execution across Digital Workplace strategic initiatives.
This role serves as the architect of the Strategic Programs Office operating model, ensuring teams have the frameworks, tools, standards, training, and community support necessary to deliver strategic outcomes with clarity, consistency, and confidence.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Program Governance Standards & Lifecycle Frameworks
  • Develop, implement, and maintain governance standards for Digital Workplace strategic initiatives.
  • Establish program lifecycle frameworks, templates, playbooks, and reporting expectations.
  • Define governance forums, review cadences, and decision-making processes.
  • Drive adoption of consistent program management practices across Digital Workplace.
  • Continuously improve governance processes to balance consistency with delivery flexibility.

PM Center of Excellence
  • Lead the Digital Workplace Program Management Center of Excellence (PM COE).
  • Develop and maintain PM methodologies, best practices, standards, and reusable assets.
  • Build and facilitate a Program Management Community of Practice.
  • Support onboarding, mentoring, and capability development for Program Managers and initiative leaders.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and continuous learning across the PM community.

Annual Strategic Execution Planning
  • Partner with Digital Workplace leadership to support annual planning and strategic execution readiness activities.
  • Facilitate strategy-to-program mapping across the organization.
  • Support the translation of strategic priorities into executable initiatives and roadmaps.
  • Maintain alignment between strategic objectives, programs, and delivery plans.
  • Support planning, prioritization, and governance activities throughout the annual planning cycle.

PMO Capability & Ways of Working
  • Define, document, and evolve Digital Workplace Ways of Working.
  • Establish and maintain PMO operating procedures, standards, and guidance materials.
  • Develop onboarding materials and PM enablement resources.
  • Measure adoption and effectiveness of governance standards and PMO capabilities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase organizational maturity and execution consistency.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • Extensive experience leading program governance, PMO, transformation, or strategic planning functions.
  • Demonstrated experience designing governance frameworks, operating models, and execution standards within large organizations.
  • Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.
  • Ability to influence teams and drive adoption of standards without direct authority.
