How you will make an impact:

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for safety, quality, and continuous improvement? Join our team as a Production Shift Supervisor in Papermaking Operations, where you will have direct responsibility for crews on rotating shifts. You will work closely with area management to engage manufacturing employees in the Crane Business System, providing visible support, fostering open communications, and coaching and developing employees in a safety-conscious environment. Your role will encompass ensuring safe operations, monitoring production quality, scheduling and adjusting shifts to meet production needs, managing costs, and driving growth through the implementation of CBS tools. If you have a proven track record in manufacturing, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

Required:

ย ย ย ย ย  High school diploma or equivalent

ย ย ย ย ย  5+ years of manufacturing experience, demonstrating progressive advancement in responsibility ย  ย ย ย ย ย ย 

ย ย ย ย ย  1+ years' experience working in a continuous manufacturing environment

ย ย ย ย ย  Must be able to work rotating shifts, extended hours and weekends, as dictated by the manufacturing scheduleย ย 

ย ย ย ย ย  Must be proficient, or demonstrate ability to learn Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.

Preferred:

ย ย ย ย ย  Proven ability to direct, influence and lead employees with no direct authority

ย ย ย ย ย  Working knowledge of Plant Applications, Active Factory, JDE.,

ย ย ย ย ย  Proven capability to grasp and communicate intricate technical procedures.

ย ย ย ย ย  Proven ability to mentor and enhance employee performance.

ย ย ย ย ย  Proven analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

ย ย ย ย ย  Working knowledge and experience with efficient and robust Quality Management Systems

The salary range for this role is $38.81 - $40.00 hourly. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.
