Position: Production Leader
Location: Norlina, NC
Company: Manufacturing Company
Description: This is an exciting direct hire opportunity to work with a growing and established company!
The Production Leader will oversee shift operations and drive floor performance. This role requires a strong, visible leader who manages shift handoffs, attendance, scheduling, and timekeeping while ensuring proper coverage and workflow. With a constant presence on the floor, this individual monitors production, addresses issues in real time, coordinates maintenance, and adjusts resources as needed. They will also coach and support team members, resolve conflicts, drive accountability, and communicate key updates through reporting, presenting and shift transitions, directly impacting overall operational success.
-Requirements:
-5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience within Industrial Manufacturing environments.
-10+ direct reports prior required.
-Experience conducting routine floor audits to ensure quality standards.
-Strong conflict resolution and problem solving skills
-Experience managing timekeeping, scheduling, and production reporting.
-Lean manufacturing principles, 6sigma, OSHA certifications, etc. are a plus.
