Our client is a global company striving to provide its product sustainably while prioritizing the needs of its customers AND employees. The Controller is a key player on the leadership team. They contribute to all areas of management and provide strong financial leadership.

Overview of the Controller role:

  • Plan and coordinate budget and business planning activities in alignment with corporate policies and practices
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and year-end closes, and related general ledger and bank reconciliations
  • Prepare and publish financial statements including budgets, internal and external reports, forecasts, and income statements
  • Coordinate auditing processes
  • Review and set goals within the organization for continued growth and margin contribution

Preferred Qualifications and Experience for the Controller role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 5 years of relevant accounting or financial analysis experience within a manufacturing company
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP's
  • Must be highly computer literate and be familiar with data mining and ERP systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple teams simultaneously and prioritize based on deadlines
