Job description

About the Role:
We have a current opening for a Plant Engineering Manager and are actively reviewing applications.
We are dedicated to providing high-quality food products that meet the evolving needs of consumers and the demands of our industry. With a commitment to innovation and excellence, we are seeking a highly skilled Resident Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge food technology and process engineering.
Main Responsibilities:
• Support the Louisville Plant as the Engineering Leader, overseeing end-to-end technical processes across the facility.
• Lead the design and execution of investment projects, from business case development and approval by the Group Investment Committee and Investment Board (as required) through the startup of new manufacturing lines, equipment, and other operational assets.
• Ensure feasibility studies, plant and machinery engineering, and technical development using both bottom-up and top-down approaches, including external coordination with regulatory authorities.
• Contribute to CapEx budgeting and PS3 development, ensuring full alignment with Ferrero's master plan.
• Support the plant in developing maintenance objectives and plans, including the execution of appropriate training activities.
• Partner with the Technical Procurement department to develop the vendor portfolio and support risk management initiatives.
• Ensure full integration and alignment with the global Ferrero Engineering organization.
About You:
  • Minimum 5-10 years of progressive engineering experience within a high-speed cookies environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or related discipline).
  • Master's degree in Engineering or Business preferred.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Solid technical knowledge of machine and tooling design.
  • Understanding and practical application of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD (3D), MS Project, PowerPoint, SAP, and BIM (Building Information Modeling).
  • Experience working with domestic and global regulations, ensuring compliance with Ferrero standards.
