Job description

Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Donaldson is committed to solving the worldโ€™s most complex filtration challenges. Qualified candidates must be able to work an on-site schedule at our Dixon, IL facility.

Responsibilities
  • Perform moderately complex professional engineering duties in a specific engineering field or area of specialization.
  • Participate in optimization, methods, and process development.
  • Lead technical or specialized applications, products, or projects and research market/technical trends.
  • Coordinate larger cross-functional projects and influence process improvements.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients or partners, as needed.
  • Make moderate improvements to programs, processes, procedures, or systems to contribute to team performance.
  • Provide assistance and training to lower-level employees.
  • Lead significant parts of moderately complex projects or processes.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications: Bachelorโ€™s degree in Engineering; minimum 5 years of related professional engineering experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Masterโ€™s degree in a technical field; proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage competing projects; strong presentation and communication skills; experience leading projects or project management; Lean or Six Sigma experience; aerospace knowledge/experience; industrial or machine automation experience; experience with FEA, preferably ANSYS.
Salary and Benefits
  • Annual salary range: $86,200 - $125,580.
