Accountable for process engineering assurance across FEED, detailed design, construction, commissioning, and start-up of the TNT Manufacturing Facility in Graham, Kentucky. Ensures that process designs are safe, compliant and operable.

What You'll Do:
As a Senior Process Engineer, you will be accountable for process engineering assurance across FEED, detailed design, construction, commissioning, and start-up of the TNT Manufacturing Facility in Graham, Kentucky. The role ensures that process designs are safe, compliant, operable, and aligned with Dyno Nobel standards and regulatory requirements. Following commissioning, the role transitions to a site-based Process Engineer supporting stable operations, optimisation, and ongoing process safety management. Other duties include:
  • Act as Dyno Nobel process engineering authority for the TNT Project
  • Review and assure FEED and detailed design deliverables
  • Ensure compliance with Dyno Nobel standards, codes, and regulatory requirements
  • Provide technical challenge to EPCM process designs
  • Lead and participate in HAZOPs, SIL/LOPA studies, and design risk reviews
  • Ensure accurate translation of process safety outcomes into design
  • Support development of safe operating envelopes
  • Support development of operating philosophies, procedures, and training material
  • Ensure design supports operability, maintainability, and start-up requirements
  • Participate in OR readiness reviews and gate assurance
  • Provide field engineering support during construction
  • Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities
  • Troubleshoot process issues during initial operation and ramp-up
  • Provide ongoing process engineering support to site operations
  • Support optimization, debottlenecking, and continuous improvement
  • Maintain process safety documentation and Management of Change (MOC) inputs

What We're Looking For:
  • Degree in Chemical Engineering required
  • 8+ years process engineering experience in chemical/explosives/hazardous industries
  • Deep knowledge of process safety (HAZOP, LOPA, relief systems)
  • Experience supporting commissioning and start-up
  • Strong understanding of operating philosophies and asset lifecycle requirements
  • Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and team player.
