Role Overview

  • The SAP Business Process Analyst drives operational efficiency and system effectiveness by leading business process and SAP system improvements across the organization.
  • This role partners closely with Operations, Manufacturing, and IT teams to translate business needs into sustainable process and system solutions and ensure successful end-to-end implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead process improvement initiatives with a strong emphasis on SAP-enabled solutions across operational, manufacturing, and support functions.
  • Partner with Operations teams to understand current-state processes, identify gaps, and define future-state process and system requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT and SAP functional teams to translate business requirements into system designs, enhancements, configurations, and technical solutions.
  • Manage a portfolio of process and system improvement initiatives, including scope definition, prioritization, timelines, dependencies, and delivery commitments.
  • Drive end-to-end implementation of approved improvements, including solution design, build coordination, testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Serve as a process and SAP subject matter expert (SME) to ensure alignment between business needs, system capabilities, and standard processes.
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders, resolve issues, and drive timely decisions.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, workflows, SOPs, and work instructions to support standardization and sustainability.
  • Create and deliver training materials and conduct user training to support adoption of new processes and SAP functionality.
  • Mentor and coach Operations team members to build SAP and process expertise within the organization.
  • Support change management activities by communicating impacts, risks, and benefits of process and system changes.
  • Assist in defining and tracking KPIs to measure process performance, system effectiveness, and realized benefits.
  • Monitor post-implementation performance and drive continuous improvement actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Business, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes in an operational or manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on experience working with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA across functions such as manufacturing, planning, repair, supply chain, or logistics.
  • Experience leading or supporting SAP implementations, enhancements, or process standardization initiatives.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience developing process documentation, SOPs, and training materials.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience is a plus.
