Job Location : Miramar, FL (Onsite)
Job Duration : 6 months

Job Description :

Business Analyst

  • 4 days mandatory in the office, we re looking for a schedule approximating 7:30am 4:30pm.
  • Only candidates local to Miramar, FL or within commutable distance will be considered.
  • A Business Analyst will help organize projects, make them visible to stakeholders, and support the development of software in the Scrum Master role. Learning new workflows, structuring and documenting new projects, interfacing with stakeholders, evaluating vendors, collaborating with technical leads to produce technical documentation, leading a SCRUM team through bug scrubs / sprint planning / stand-ups / retrospectives, presentations to leadership, writing and distributing documentation / release notes, and generally representing the department in a collaborative & professional manner.
  • As an integral member of the our team, the Business Analyst will work closely with designers, developers, development leads, infrastructure leads, support leads, internal / external stakeholders, and all levels of management on any activity necessary to ensure the efficient production of software.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of related experience with a bachelor s degree; or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrates an ability to interface with stakeholders in a friendly way which does not compromise the integrity of the development process
  • History of learning new processes and thinking critically about them
  • Experience with a work tracking system commonly used in Development; Team Foundation Server, JIRA, or similar
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to present complex issues / ideas with precision, clarity, and brevity; to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Process oriented; expertise with project management and maintaining project organization
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excell, Word and Windows in general

Desirable Skills:

  • Basic data analytics using advanced Excell or basic SQL
  • Healthcare experience for systems based in the United States, HIPAA compliance / requirements, working with clinicians, and/or with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  • Experience acting as a Scrum Master for a team which directly produces software
