Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer and manage incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, and respond to inquiries
- Verify patient information, insurance details, and maintain accurate records
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently
- Collect co-pays and process payments accurately
- Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR) with a high degree of accuracy
- Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and staff
- Handle sensitive patient information in compliance with privacy regulations
- Perform general administrative duties such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or higher preferred)
- Prior experience in a medical office or administrative role preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance processes
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic office software
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
