Job description

HealthPlus Staffing is seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join a thriving Urgent Care/Primary Care practice located in a highly affluent suburb of Chicago. This is an excellent opportunity for a healthcare professional looking for a rewarding role in a well-established practice with a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care in both Urgent Care and Primary Care settings.
  • Work 3 days per week, 10-hour shifts (Mon-Thurs).
  • Manage 20-30 patients per day.
  • Perform medical procedures, including but not limited to suturing and stitching.
  • Effectively use Practice Fusion EMR, transitioning to eClinicalWorks (ECW) in January.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Urgent Care or Primary Care.
  • Must be comfortable performing procedures like suturing and stitching.
  • Ability to handle a patient load of 20-30 patients per day.
  • Strong background in working with private insurance patients.
  • Experience with EMR systems (Practice Fusion experience is a plus; ECW training will be provided).

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary range: $150,000 - $160,000 (negotiable).
  • Full benefits package.
