Hillside Medical Group is a well-established and rapidly growing primary care organization committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. We take pride in building meaningful relationships with our patients, allowing our providers to deliver thoughtful, personalized care at every visit.

We are currently seeking a full-time Board Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP-C) to join our expanding team. While experience is preferred, all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. Hillside Medical Group is physician-owned and operated, with 21 locations across San Antonio and continued growth ahead.

We are actively looking for candidates located in or willing to work in the Austin, Georgetown, and Leander areas as we continue to expand throughout Central Texas.

Position Summary
  • Provide direct patient care in a primary care setting
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Order and interpret laboratory studies
  • Coordinate professional consultations as needed
  • Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to patients of all ages
  • Support continuity of care through patient education and follow-up
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, medical assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient clinic operations
Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments, annual physicals, wellness exams, and acute care visits
  • Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies
  • Prescribe and manage medications in compliance with Texas prescribing regulations
  • Collaborate on chronic disease management including diabetes, hypertension, COPD, anxiety, depression, and hyperlipidemia
  • Document patient encounters accurately and timely in Practice Fusion EHR
  • Participate in quality improvement and population health initiatives
  • Educate patients on preventive care, treatment plans, medications, and lifestyle modifications
  • Coordinate referrals and specialty consultations as needed
  • Maintain compliance with clinic policies, HIPAA regulations, and clinical best practices
Qualifications
  • Board Certified: FNP-C/FNP-BC or PA-C
  • Current, unrestricted Texas state license and DEA license
  • Proficiency with EHR/medical charting systems
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written communication skills
  • Team-oriented, adaptable, and flexible
  • Must have a clear, unrestricted license
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
Requirements
  • Active Texas NP license and national NP certification (AANP or ANCC) or active PA-C certification
  • Current DEA registration
  • Experience with primary care or internal medicine preferred
  • Familiarity with EHR systems; Practice Fusion experience is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply
