Press Machine Operator 2nd Shift

Type: Contract-to-Hire


Position Summary

Join a leading battery-components manufacturer as a Press Machine Operator. You’ll receive on-the-job training and be part of a hands-on team dedicated to quality and efficiency. This role requires a quick learner who’s committed to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.


Responsibilities

  • Set up machines for each production cycle (calibration, cleaning, etc.)
  • Control and adjust machine settings to maintain optimal output
  • Feed materials or parts into machines and package finished goods
  • Inspect parts using precision and measuring tools to ensure quality
  • Test machine operation at regular intervals
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues during your shift
  • Maintain accurate activity logs and production records


Requirements

  • Strong, verifiable work history—reliable attendance and performance
  • Strict adherence to health & safety regulations (constant use of protective gear)
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Physical stamina and strength (able to lift up to 40 lbs)
  • High school diploma or equivalent; prior manufacturing experience preferred


Shift & Schedule

  • Monday–Wednesday:
  • 5:00 PM–5:00 AM, Monday - Wednesday
  • Thursday 5:00 PM– 9:00PM or 5:00 AM
  • Overtime mandatory as needed on Fridays
