Job description

As a Brake Press Operator, you will play a critical role in shaping the metal components that drive our production forward. This position offers the opportunity to apply your technical skills in a hands-on environment while directly impacting the quality, precision, and performance of our finished products-all within a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing setting.
Essential Duties:
  • Set up brake press machines according to work orders, blueprints, and job specifications.
  • Select and install proper tooling and adjust machine settings to achieve required dimensions, angles, and tolerances.
  • Load and position metal materials such as steel, aluminum, and other alloys for processing.
  • Inspect finished parts to verify quality, accuracy, and conformance to specifications.
  • Use measuring devices to check dimensions, bend angles, and overall part quality.
  • Make adjustments to machine settings or tooling as needed to maintain quality and productivity.
  • Complete required production documentation, including quantities produced, scrap, time, and material usage.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and housekeeping standards.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements while operating machinery and handling materials.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Brake Press Operator or in a similar metal fabrication role preferred.
  • Experience working with various metals and bending techniques is a plus.
  • Ability to safely operate material handling equipment may be required.
  • Understanding of safe machine operation and proper material handling practices.
