How you will make an Impact (Job Summary)
Operates fin press and related fabrication equipment to produce precision metal fins used in heat transfer assemblies. Responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring fin press machines that stamp, cut, and form metal sheets to required specifications. Ensures proper material alignment, die setup, and press adjustments to maintain product quality and efficiency.
What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)

Safety
  • Operate machinery according to specifications and safety standards
  • Follow all safety rules and adhere to core value of business
  • Maintain general work areas and/or equipment used in a clean and orderly condition
  • Ensure proper and effective operation of machine and tools throughout entire process. Report repairs and/or issues to team lead or supervisor

Delivery
  • Prepare, set-up, and adjust machinery per specifications to meet production schedules for on time delivery
  • Measures work, using rule, gauges, callipers and templates
  • Ensure sufficient raw materials are in inventory to complete orders
  • Utilize small tools such as grinders to remove scratches, excess weld material and burrs
  • Perform light maintenance on equipment, machines, and other devices used in the normal course of work performed
  • Complete tasks as directed with minimum supervision

Quality
  • Confirm material, sizes, and parts match job tickets
  • Ensure all parts and surfaces are free from defects
  • Accurately document work performed per defined procedure
  • Self-monitor quality of own work, and report to lead or supervisor unusual, defective, or operating difficulties
  • Complete all tasks and work within designed quality guidelines
