POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly collaborative and technically adept Sales Engineer / Solutions Architect to drive technical excellence in our sales process. You will serve as the technical bridge between our clients' complex business requirements and our robust fiber infrastructure capabilities. This role is pivotal in crafting tailored, high-performance network solutions that align with both client objectives and our operational realities. The ideal candidate thrives in a consultative environment, balancing technical ingenuity with commercial pragmatism to ensure every proposed solution is feasible, scalable, and value-driven.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Technical Solution Design: Lead the design of customized fiber network solutions for high-stakes business, carrier, and hyperscale accounts. Translate client requirements into detailed technical proposals, architectural diagrams, and service scopes.
  • Sales Enablement: Partner closely with the sales team to provide technical expertise during the pre-sales cycle. Conduct discovery meetings to assess technical feasibility, identify potential bottlenecks, and articulate our competitive advantages.
  • Collaboration & Feasibility: Work seamlessly with OSP Engineering, Operations, and Product teams to validate build requirements, cost estimates, and delivery timelines, ensuring that what we sell can be executed with rigor and precision.
  • Client Engagement: Act as a technical advisor to key accounts. Present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders with clarity, and lead technical business reviews to ensure long-term solution alignment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to refine our standard design patterns, streamline solutioning workflows, and improve time-to-market for new network services.
  • Market Insight: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies (AI/Hyperscale), and competitor capabilities to keep our product offerings at the forefront of the market.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical specifications into concise, impactful customer-facing proposals.
  • Highly developed communication skills, with experience presenting to executive leadership and external clients.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation and modeling (e.g., Excel/Google Sheets) for cost estimation and ROI analysis.
  • Experience with network design tools and GIS mapping software.
  • Ability to balance multiple concurrent sales opportunities without sacrificing detail or quality.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
