  • Collaborate with producers and other editors to develop creative concepts, player features, and original Bulls content franchises.
  • Oversee and participate in post-production tasks including color correction, audio mixing, graphics integration, and finishing workflows.
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand style guidelines, partnership requirements, and platform-specific specifications.
  • Provide direct mentorship, feedback, and leadership to the editorial team, fostering growth and maintaining high creative standards.
  • Manage and maintain editorial systems, workflows, and server organization, ensuring integration with Bulls digital asset management systems.
  • Stay current on industry trends, tools, and storytelling approaches, driving innovation and helping Bulls content stand out across the NBA landscape.
  • Support operational efficiency by adopting new systems and technologies that optimize post-production workflows.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • 6–8+ years of professional video editing and post-production experience, ideally in sports, entertainment, or brand content.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience managing full-time staff.
  • Proven leadership and management experience overseeing editors, assistant editors, and/or asset managers.
  • Highly proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, with emphasis on Adobe Premiere Pro; After Effects and DaVince a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of camera workflows/codecs (ARRI Mini, Sony FX9/FX6, Canon Cinema EOS series).
  • Experience with multi-format video production including horizontal (16x9), square (1x1), and vertical (9x16).
  • Ability to manage, prioritize, and deliver on multiple concurrent projects under tight deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of digital content trends, audience engagement strategies, and storytelling best practices.
  • Experience in Media Asset Management workflows and collaboration with DAM systems.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the demands of an NBA season, including working evenings, weekends, and non-game events.
  • Strong communicator and collaborator with the ability to work across departments and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organized, solutions-oriented, and detail-driven with excellent time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
