To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Planner Scheduler located in Northfield MN.

Reporting to the Materials Planning Manager, the Planner Scheduler, this role will oversee planning materials and production functions. Plans, schedules, coordinates, and approves product release to the production planning systems based on material and capacity availability.

Here is a glimpse of what you'll do:

  • Checking the possibility of order fulfillment based on the available resources (materials, employees, equipment's etc.), confirmation of the order.
  • Preparation of production plans, input of planning data into the integrated computer system of the company
  • Monitoring of system accuracy in daily/weekly bases /General Item data, routing, BOM, CFT data /non-consumed demand, planned WO's.
  • Monitoring of stock level, handling of stock differences.
  • Advises non-exempt associates regarding day-to-day priority of customer requests.
  • Monitors and proactively addresses issues that impact performance to committed ship date (CSD), lead-time, response time, and inventory goals.
  • Coordinates and manages high-visibility and/or important customer programs.
  • May include initial customer or product startup initiatives or large customer programs.
  • Coordinates with Master Scheduler to manage product life cycle and related materials availability issues.
  • Drives process improvements inside and outside the area of Planning / Scheduling.
  • Provides input to management, reschedules, and /or interfaces with customer program management, master scheduling, customers, and production control to reschedule production in the event of design changes, labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions.
  • Help inventory control, supply chain management, material planning

Here is some of what you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3 years of experience as a Planner Scheduler or similar roles
  • Experience in Oracle MRP systems
  • Production Planning/scheduling, and DOF (Direct Order Fulfillment)
  • Micro Soft Office Suite
  • Learn new tools/software quickly and work/multi-task under pressure
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
