About Herbal Goodness

Herbal Goodness is a fast-growing wellness company offering premium herbal teas, liquid extracts, supplements, and superfoods that support healthy living and impact lives. We are expanding our retail and wholesale footprint and are seeking a highly driven, tech-savvy Sales & Key Account Manager to help grow our B2B distribution and contract manufacturing business.

This role is ideal for a strong mid-level sales professional with experience in the supplements, natural wellness, or CPG space, especially someone who understands how to build a pipeline, nurture accounts, leverage CRM tools, and convert opportunities into revenue.

Position Summary

The Sales & Key Account Manager will be responsible for growing Herbal Goodness through:

  • new retail account acquisition
  • wholesaler and practitioner outreach
  • contract manufacturing lead generation
  • account management and pipeline development

The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and highly comfortable using CRM, AI, and automation tools such as HubSpot, Pipedrive, and outbound sales tools to drive efficient sales execution and follow-up.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can both open doors and manage a disciplined sales process. Will be required to work from the office.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new B2B retail, wholesale, practitioner, and contract manufacturing accounts
  • Build relationships with health food stores, wellness retailers, practitioners, distributors, and small manufacturing businesses
  • Prospect, pitch, negotiate, and close new business opportunities
  • Support growth into specialty, natural, ethnic, and mainstream retail channels
  • Represent Herbal Goodness professionally in meetings, presentations, and outreach.

Account Management

  • Manage and grow a pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Maintain regular follow-up with prospects and existing accounts
  • Support the onboarding of new accounts and coordinate handoff internally
  • Help strengthen relationships with key accounts and identify upsell opportunities

CRM, AI & Sales Process Execution

  • Set up and maintain disciplined sales activity in Pipedrive, or similar CRM tools
  • Use AI and automation tools to support outbound prospecting, contact discovery, follow-up, and reporting
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, account status, and next steps
  • Generate regular pipeline and sales reports for leadership review

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal marketing and operations teams to support onboarding, fulfillment, and account success
  • Coordinate internally to ensure strong execution once deals are closed
  • Contribute feedback from the market to help improve sales materials, messaging, and product positioning

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development
  • Experience in supplements, natural products, wellness, CPG, or related retail channels
  • Proven ability to prospect, build a pipeline, and close deals
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Pipedrive or HubSpot
  • Strong comfort level with AI tools, automation, and tech-enabled sales workflows
  • Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing network or familiarity with buyers in natural wellness, specialty retail, practitioner, or wholesale channels
  • Experience selling into health food stores, ethnic retailers, wellness practitioners, or independent retailers
  • Experience supporting contract manufacturing, white-label, or private-label sales
  • Experience managing a recurring pipeline and reporting on KPIs

What Success Looks Like

Within the first 60-90 days, success in this role will look like:

  • a healthy and active pipeline of qualified leads
  • 10%+ success in appointment setting given X number of outreach weekly.
  • new retail, practitioner, wholesale, or manufacturing accounts opened
  • consistent outbound activity and follow-up cadence in CRM
  • measurable growth in B2B revenue
  • increased visibility and structure in our sales process
  • strong collaboration with internal teams to convert opportunities into repeat business

Compensation

This is a full-time hourly role with a strong performance-based bonus structure designed to reward results.

Base Compensation

  • Hourly pay: Competitive, based on experience
  • Full-time schedule

Performance Bonus Structure

In addition to hourly compensation, this role will be eligible for a healthy monthly and quarterly bonus plan tied to measurable outcomes.

1. New Account Bonus

  • Bonus for each qualified new account opened and onboarded
  • Higher bonus for larger strategic retail or wholesale accounts

2. Revenue Bonus

  • Bonus tied to monthly or quarterly B2B revenue generated
  • Can include tiered accelerators once targets are exceeded

3. Contract Manufacturing Bonus

  • Additional bonus for closing new contract manufacturing or private-label accounts
