Job description

Description
We're not looking for someone to work warm leads or manage referrals. We're looking for a hunter - someone who can walk into a business, earn an owner's trust, and open a door that wasn't open before.
SDA CPA Group is a growing accounting firm serving small businesses across North Metro Atlanta. We provide accounting, tax planning, payroll, and financial reporting as one integrated system - proactively, not just at tax season. Our brand promise: Relax, We Make Accounting Easy.
This is a dedicated outbound sales position at our Cumming office. You'll identify, approach, and close new monthly accounting clients through networking, canvassing, trade events, cold outreach, and referral development. Target: 2 new clients per month at ~$800/month each.
Base: $50,000 | On-Target Earnings: - $103,000 (50/50 base/commission at target)
Responsibilities
• Prospect and approach small business owners through networking, canvassing, trade organizations, and cold outreach in North Metro Atlanta
• Build referral relationships with bankers, attorneys, insurance professionals, and business consultants
• Conduct discovery meetings, qualify prospects, and present service proposals
• Maintain accurate pipeline and activity records in our CRM (PipeDrive)
• Coordinate with our team to ensure a smooth client onboarding
• Submit all pricing for approval and operate within established pricing guidelines
Qualifications
• 3+ years of B2B sales or business development experience, calling on small business owners
• Demonstrated track record of prospecting, pipeline building, and closing new business
• Self-starter who can generate leads independently - not reliant on inbound or warm handoffs
• Consistent CRM discipline (PipeDrive or comparable)
• Consultative sales style - you ask good questions and solve problems, not pitch scripts
• Experience in financial services, professional services, or B2B services a plus - not required
• Local market knowledge of North Metro Atlanta preferred
