Job description

Position Summary

Pinnacle MEP is seeking a highly analytical and systems-driven Sales Analytics amp; Systems Manager to build and scale a best-in-class commercial analytics and business systems function across a rapidly growing, private equity-backed platform.

This role will be responsible for developing the analytics, reporting, dashboards, and commercial systems that provide executive leadership with real-time visibility into sales performance, pipeline health, forecasting, bookings, backlog, and key business metrics across multiple operating companies (OpCos). The Sales Analytics amp; Systems Manager will own the organization's commercial CRM platform, Power BI reporting environment, and commercial data infrastructure while partnering closely with Sales, Finance, Operations, and IT to deliver actionable insights and scalable processes.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys building systems, improving data quality, and transforming complex business information into meaningful operational intelligence.


Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Intelligence amp; Commercial Analytics
  • Develop and manage executive, operating company, and Board-level Power BI dashboards and KPI reporting.
  • Provide real-time visibility into:
    • Sales pipeline
    • Bookings
    • Forecast accuracy
    • Backlog
    • Revenue performance
    • Conversion rates
    • Win rates
    • Commercial productivity
  • Analyze commercial data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable business insights.
  • Develop standardized reporting and KPI definitions across all operating companies.

CRM amp; Commercial Systems Ownership
  • Serve as the business owner for Pinnacle's CRM platform (Pipedrive) and related commercial systems.
  • Optimize CRM workflows, automation, pipeline stages, reporting, and user experience.
  • Improve CRM adoption through training, best practices, and continuous process improvement.
  • Establish data governance standards that improve data quality and reporting consistency.
  • Evaluate and recommend enhancements to commercial technology platforms.

Data Integration amp; Reporting
  • Partner with Data amp; Systems leadership to integrate CRM, ERP, ServiceTitan, BuildOps, Power BI, and other commercial platforms.
  • Create a centralized commercial reporting environment that serves as a single source of truth.
  • Ensure data integrity across multiple business systems.
  • Build scalable reporting solutions supporting executive leadership and Board reporting.

Commercial Performance Support
  • Partner with Commercial Leadership to improve forecasting, pipeline management, and sales performance visibility.
  • Develop reporting around:
    • Pipeline health
    • Forecasting
    • Bookings
    • Backlog
    • Lead generation
    • Conversion rates
    • Sales productivity
  • Deliver actionable recommendations that improve commercial decision-making.

Process Standardization amp; Continuous Improvement
  • Standardize commercial reporting, KPI definitions, and sales workflows across all operating companies.
  • Identify opportunities to automate reporting and eliminate manual processes.
  • Establish repeatable reporting cadences supporting weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through technology and analytics.

Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Commercial, Finance, Operations, IT, and Data teams.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and commercial performance analysis.
  • Collaborate with Operating Company leadership to improve reporting visibility and adoption of commercial systems.
  • Support acquisitions by integrating commercial reporting and systems into Pinnacle standards.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Analytics, Revenue Operations, Business Intelligence, Sales Operations, or Business Systems.
  • Advanced experience developing dashboards and reporting in Power BI.
  • Experience administering and optimizing CRM platforms (Pipedrive preferred; Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar considered).
  • Experience integrating data across multiple business systems.
  • Proven track record building executive reporting, KPI dashboards, and commercial analytics.
  • Strong understanding of sales funnels, forecasting, pipeline management, and commercial performance metrics.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience partnering closely with Finance, executive leadership, and commercial teams.
  • Experience in a private equity-backed, multi-entity, or roll-up organization strongly preferred.
  • Background in construction, HVAC, field services, or related industries preferred.
  • Familiarity with ServiceTitan and BuildOps preferred.
