Position Overview:
The Personal Injury Paralegal will play a crucial role in assisting our legal team by managing case files, preparing legal documents, and facilitating communication between clients and attorneys. Your expertise and organizational skills will help ensure a thorough and efficient case process for our clients who are navigating challenging moments in their lives.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:
  • Document Management: Draft, review, and organize legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and client correspondence.
  • Case File Organization: Maintain and manage active case files to ensure all necessary documentation is available for attorneys and clients.
  • Discovery and Evidence: Assist attorneys in the discovery process, including gathering evidence, summarizing documents, and organizing case-related materials.
  • Client Interaction: Serve as a liaison between clients and attorneys, providing case updates and answering client inquiries with professionalism and compassion.
  • Calendar Management: Track important deadlines and manage the legal calendar for hearings, depositions, and administrative tasks.
  • Trial Preparation: Assist in preparing exhibits and trial materials, ensuring everything is organized and ready prior to court appearances.
  • Legal Research: Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries or reports as needed by attorneys.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field preferred; paralegal certification is a plus.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience as a paralegal in a personal injury law firm is strongly preferred.
