Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced full-time Personal Injury Paralegal to join a busy successful growing Personal Injury practice. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing plaintiff-side personal injury matters and be comfortable handling cases from intake through settlement and/or trial preparation.


Responsibilities

  1. Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from intake through resolution.
  2. Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case status, treatment, and outstanding documentation.
  3. Obtain & review medical records, medical bills, police reports, insurance information, and other case-related documents.
  4. Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery demands, and responses, bills of particulars, and other litigation documents.
  5. Assist attorneys with depositions, mediations, arbitrations, trial preparation.
  6. Coordinate with medical providers, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, experts, and other parties.
  7. Assist with settlement packages and demands.
  8. Maintain organized and accurate electronic case files.
  9. Provide Attorneys with regular case updates.
