Law Clerk Intern

Moss Berg Injury Law - Personal Injury Law Firm-Las Vegas, NV

An established personal injury firm is seeking a law clerk intern to join our team. Law clerk is expected to have research, organizational and writing skills, including an understanding of existing law to clearly articulate legal information.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Prepare legal drafts by assembling and organizing information for legal forms and documents, including demands, complaints, discovery requests, responses, motions, briefs, and other pleadings.
  • Conduct extensive legal research and analysis, researching case laws and court decisions.
  • Assembling case materials by collecting, organizing, and summarizing information, documents, reports, and evidence.
  • Prepare for trial, mediation, or arbitration by preparing exhibits.
  • Assisting legal staff with administrative projects as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client and case information.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a 2L law student.
  • Have legal writing skills and excellent legal research skills.
  • Able to meet deadlines and follow detailed instructions.
  • Ability to stay organized and self-motivated.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Works both independently, as well as collaboratively with a team.
  • Proficient at using a computer and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Dependable and punctual.
