Job description

Position Title: Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney
The Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney will manage personal injury cases from filing through trial, ensuring that all aspects of the litigation process are handled effectively. The position requires the ability to work under strict deadlines while multitasking in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative culture that values open communication and teamwork. This role offers significant growth potential, including opportunities for advancement into senior attorney or management roles. Salary Range: $105,000 - $200,000 / Year DOE
Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day personal injury cases from filing the complaint through trial
  • Communicate with opposing counsel regarding case strategy and settlement discussions
  • Take and defend depositions of parties and witnesses
  • Make court appearances as required
  • Review drafted documents from staff and provide feedback
  • Audit litigation case files for accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare for trial, including organizing exhibits, witness preparation, and strategy
  • Conduct settlement negotiations and attend settlement/dispositive proceedings
  • Provide legal opinions and guidance to clients

Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience, with a maximum of 5 years
  • Plaintiff experience is required
  • Ideally have experience in Personal Injury Litigation, but open to Civil Litigation
  • Respond to civil discovery and propound civil discovery
  • Handle discovery objections
  • Manage deposition objections
  • Defend depositions (at least attended them)
  • Demonstrate law and motion experience, particularly with discovery motions and opposing motions for summary judgment
  • Have hearing experience
  • Must be barred in California
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
