Senior Personal Injury Litigation Attorney (PA & NJ)

Location: Cherry Hill, New Jersey

Job Type: Full-Time, In-Person

Compensation: $115,000โ€“$140,000 annually, based on experience, plus performance-based bonuses

About the Firm

We are a growing plaintiff-side personal injury law firm representing injured individuals throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Our practice focuses on motor vehicle accidents, workplace injuries, premises liability, construction accidents, catastrophic injury claims, and wrongful death cases. We are committed to providing exceptional client service and aggressive advocacy to help our clients obtain the compensation they deserve.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Personal Injury Litigation Attorney licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey to join our Cherry Hill office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of personal injury litigation experience and the ability to independently manage a litigation caseload from intake through resolution. This position requires strong litigation skills, excellent client communication, and a commitment to achieving outstanding results for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of personal injury matters throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
  • Conduct client consultations and case evaluations.
  • Analyze liability, damages, medical records, and insurance coverage.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal correspondence.
  • Conduct depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
  • Attend court appearances in Pennsylvania and New Jersey state and federal courts.
  • Prepare cases for trial and assist with trial strategy.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case developments and case strategy.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to maximize case outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with court deadlines and firm procedures.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active licenses and good standing in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
  • Minimum of 8 years of personal injury litigation experience.
  • Strong litigation, negotiation, and case management skills.
  • Experience handling depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances.
  • Ability to independently manage a substantial caseload.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to client service.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience.
  • Experience handling motor vehicle accidents, trucking accidents, premises liability, workplace injuries, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death claims.
  • Trial experience or significant first-chair trial preparation experience.
  • Familiarity with Clio, EVE, Egnyte, and other legal case management platforms.
