Job description

Boutique personal injury law firm in Encino is looking for an experienced litigation attorney to manage the litigation department.
Duties:
- Manage litigated cases from complaint to settlement/trial
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery, motions, oppositions, and briefs
- Prepare for and attend court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings
- Negotiate settlements
- Attend mediation
- Depositions - clients, defendants, experts
- Communication with clients and opposing counsel
Requirements:
- Admitted to practice law in California and in good standing with the State Bar
- 3+ years of litigation/trial experience
- Strong research, analytical, and writing skills
- Ability to take and defend depositions
- Experience with legal drafting and litigation procedures for discovery motions, motions for summary judgment and all trial motions
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Must be proactive and goal orientated
*Bonus and/or commission opportunity may be available
Pay: $120,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
