Job description

Our client is a nationally recognized, mid-sized law firm specializing in property damage and personal injury litigation. With a multi-state presence and a strong track record of securing substantial recoveries for clients, the firm is committed to delivering exceptional legal outcomes while maintaining a client-first approach. Position Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Personal Injury Attorney to manage complex litigation matters and serve as a lead trial attorney. This role requires a high level of autonomy and expertise in handling cases from initial consultation through trial.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership in the courtroom, the ability to build trust with clients, and a proven track record of achieving favorable verdicts and settlements. This individual will be responsible for case strategy, client communication, negotiations, and trial execution.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a docket of personal injury cases, including high-value and complex matters

  • Serve as lead (first chair) trial attorney, handling cases through verdict when necessary

  • Conduct client consultations, providing legal guidance with professionalism and empathy

  • Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding case progress and strategy

  • Evaluate liability, damages, and case value to develop effective litigation strategies

  • Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel

  • Oversee all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation

  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and trials

  • Collaborate with internal legal teams and support staff to ensure efficient case management


Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

  • Active membership in the Georgia Bar in good standing

  • 5+ years of litigation experience, preferably in personal injury law

  • Demonstrated trial experience-5 or more trials as first chair required

  • Strong case evaluation and negotiation skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • Proven ability to work independently and manage a high-volume caseload

  • Proactive, strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills

  • Team-oriented mindset with leadership capabilities

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
