Are you a skilled personal injury attorney with a passion for delivering justice in high-stakes cases? Do you thrive in a leadership role where your legal expertise, strategic thinking, and client advocacy make a daily impact?
DeMayo Law Offices is seeking a Senior Personal Injury Attorney to join our Complex Injury Division. This is an opportunity to take your litigation experience to the next level by guiding a team and overseeing serious injury cases with compassion, precision, and purpose.
What You'll Do:
  • Provide legal oversight on catastrophic injury files to ensure clients receive optimal medical care and are referred to the right specialists.
  • Act as a resource and leader to the paralegals and case managers handling complex cases.
  • Step in to handle escalated matters such as client complaints, denials, terminations, and withdrawal situations.
  • Answer legal questions from team members and offer practical, thoughtful guidance.
  • Assist with team performance management, helping ensure service and productivity metrics are met.
  • Communicate with clients with empathy and clarity-reassuring them and inspiring trust in our process and results.

What We're Looking For:
  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Licensed and in good standing with the North Carolina Bar (South Carolina admission a strong plus)
  • 5+ years of personal injury experience, with a strong preference for catastrophic/complex injury cases
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with poise and professionalism
  • Exceptional interpersonal and client communication skills
  • A steady hand in crisis-able to de-escalate concerns and offer smart solutions
  • Prior team management or supervisory experience preferred
