Job description

We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused legal environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background supporting attorneys in personal injury matters, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage a high-volume caseload with attention to detail and professionalism. In this role, you will assist attorneys through all phases of personal injury litigation, including case intake, medical records review, drafting pleadings and discovery, coordinating treatment documentation, communicating with clients, and preparing cases for settlement or trial. Successful candidates must be proactive, highly organized, and capable of working efficiently under pressure while providing compassionate client service. This position plays a critical role in supporting our attorneys and advocating for clients during challenging and often life-changing circumstances.

Role and Responsibilities • Manage plaintiff personal injury cases from intake through settlement or trial • Maintain regular communication with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel • Gather and organize medical records, billing records, wage loss documentation, and other damages evidence • Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery responses, demand packages, and settlement documentation • Coordinate treatment updates and track client progress throughout the life of the case • Assist attorneys with litigation preparation, including trial preparation, mediation preparation, and deposition coordination • Maintain case calendars, deadlines, and follow-up tasks • Review and summarize medical records and discovery materials • Coordinate filing of pleadings in Texas state and federal courts • Handle lien resolution and settlement disbursement coordination • Work closely with attorneys to move cases efficiently and strategically toward resolution

Qualifications and Education Requirements • 15-20 years of plaintiff's personal injury paralegal and/or case management experience • Strong knowledge of Texas personal injury litigation procedures and deadlines • Experience handling catastrophic injury, trucking, premises liability, wrongful death, and/or complex litigation matters preferred • Excellent organizational and time-management skills • Strong written and verbal communication abilities • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple active cases simultaneously

Experience drafting demands, discovery, and litigation-related documents • Familiarity with medical terminology, records, and billing analysis • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management software • Trial preparation experience strongly preferred • Ability to work independently while also functioning as part of a collaborative team
