Role: Lead Performance Tester

Location:  Pasadena, CA /Hybrid

 

Job Description:

·  Lead and manage end-to-end performance testing activities for web, mobile, and API applications.

·  Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using tools like LoadRunner, JMeter, Gatling, or NeoLoad.

·  Define performance testing strategy, workload models, and test scenarios based on business requirements.

·  Analyze performance bottlenecks (application, database, server, network) and provide optimization recommendations.

·  Monitor system performance using tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, Splunk, or New Relic.

·  Collaborate with developers, DevOps, architects, and business stakeholders to resolve performance issues.

·  Prepare performance test reports, analyze metrics (response time, throughput, CPU, memory, error rate), and present findings to stakeholders.

·  Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.

·  Mentor junior performance testers, establish testing best practices, and drive continuous process improvements.

·  Ensure applications meet performance, scalability, reliability, and capacity requirements before production release.
