Performance Tester
Chicago IL
• Extensive experience in effort estimation, gathering non-functional requirements (NFRs), and converting them to performance test plan
• Understanding products/Architecture and usage workflows for a practical analyses performance
• Experience working on protocols like web (HTTP/HTML), web services (SOAP and REST API), Ajax (TruClient and Click & Script), MQ & Citrix etc.
• Knowledge of Cloud technologies and containerization using Docker & Kubernetes
• Excellent understanding in the use of DevOps/CICD tools
• Extensive experience in all phases of performance testing including test Planning, Scripting, Execution, Monitoring, Defect tracking and Management
• Understanding of how to automate and implement overhead, scalability, stability, and stress tests using standard industry tools
• Strong experience in Performance Profiling/Tuning/Testing
• Hands-on in performance testing and monitoring tools such as - LoadRunner, Performance Center, JMeter, Datadog, AppDynamics, Kibana and Splunk etc.
• Extensive experience in Application Server tuning and Monitoring (WebLogic, WebSphere, IIS & tomcat)
• Experience in Database monitoring by analyzing the AWR Report/SQL Profiler for root causes for database bottlenecks
• Experience providing the inputs by analyzing the GC Logs, Heap Dump analysis and Thread dump analysis.
• Working knowledge of one of the Unix operating systems
• GC Algorithms and Load Balancer algorithms
• Strong work experience in VuGen with debugging capabilities
