Role: Performance Test Manager

Duration: Long-term

Description:

We need Senior resources who can set-up performance testing processes and make recommend solutions to client on tools, processes, etc. should be capable of leading multiple performance projects across multiple location.

Will assist with the planning for and where appropriate management of all Performance Testing.

Will be responsible for through analysis of requirements specifications and design documents use structured techniques to identify testable conditions.

Prepare and execute Performance test plans and scripts ensuring alignment with standards.

Required skills:

  • Hands on experience in Test data creation, Test execution and analyzing the results to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and /or customer requirements.
  • Identify and recommend changes to enhance the effectiveness of software quality assurance strategies
  • Development of Performance Test Plans, Status Reporting, Test Readiness Reviews and Post-Implementation Reviews as appropriate
  • Strong knowledge of Performance tools (Load Runner)
  • Strong knowledge of Monitoring tools (HP Site Scope, Diagnostics, BMC Best1, Perfmon etc.)
  • Hands on experience in using test management tool (Performance Center or ALM)  
  • In depth knowledge of different type of performance tests e.g. Reliability, Stress, Smoke etc.
  • Knowledge on scripting languages

 

Lead experience needed:

Must have experience in working with teams across various locations.

Should be well versed in Project Management (Planning, Monitoring, Team management etc.)

Good management, interpersonal, Analytical, communication, organizational and decision-making skills. Proactive in identifying issues and presenting solutions and options

Good people management skills - Guide, Lead and motivate the team

Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change
