Job Title Performance Test Engineer (HP LoadRunner & JMeter) Overview We are seeking an experienced Performance Test Engineer with hands-on expertise in HP LoadRunner and JMeter. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of performance testing experience, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams. Key Responsibilities Translate non-functional requirements into performance test cases and LoadRunner scripts. Develop and execute load and performance test plans and scripts using HP LoadRunner. Identify, analyze, and document application performance issues. Evaluate application, service, or product performance against defined acceptance criteria. Analyze functional and non-functional requirements for testability. Implement and support continuous process improvements. Independently manage assigned performance testing activities through completion. Communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization. Required Qualifications 3–5 years of hands-on experience in performance testing. Experience with HP LoadRunner and JMeter. QA testing experience. Experience across multiple technologies, protocols, architectures, infrastructures, operating systems, and networks. Strong HP LoadRunner scripting experience using HTTP, Web Services, AJAX, AJAX TruClient, Citrix, and Oracle NCA protocols. Programming exposure to one or more of the following: C/C++, Java, VB, ASP, or JSF. Working knowledge of SOAP, WSDL, and XML. Experience with client-server, web, services, mobile, database, and SOA technologies/frameworks. Hands-on experience using HP ALM. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent written, verbal, and active listening skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another technical discipline. Preferred Qualifications Experience in performance engineering. Experience developing performance testing strategies for large or distributed programs. Experience with Agile performance testing. Experience using HP SiteScope and Diagnostics tools. Experience with backlog management tools such as Rally.
