Job Description/ Responsibilities/ Years of experience:
Performance Testing & Scripting
• Design, develop, and maintain performance test scripts for iOS mobile applications.
• Hands on experience on Load Runner and XCUITest (Apple's native UI test automation framework)
• Build and execute load, stress, endurance, scalability, and volume tests for mobile applications and supporting backend services.
• Develop automated performance testing solutions using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Analyze application, device, network, API, and backend performance metrics to identify bottlenecks.
• Validate mobile application performance across different iOS devices, operating system versions, and network conditions.
Performance Engineering
• Define and implement performance testing strategies and best practices.
• Establish performance baselines and benchmark application performance against defined targets.
• Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot application performance issues across the mobile ecosystem.
• Provide recommendations for performance tuning and optimization.
• Support performance testing throughout the SDLC and Agile release lifecycle.
Stakeholder Collaboration
• Partner with development teams, architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to understand performance requirements.
• Define and document Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and performance KPIs.
• Present performance test results, findings, risks, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to support performance testing environments.
Monitoring & Reporting
• Measure and report application response times, throughput, resource utilization, and user experience metrics.
• Develop performance dashboards and automated reporting mechanisms.
• Track performance trends and provide proactive recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Support production performance monitoring and root cause analysis when required.
