Job description

Our client was founded in 1998 where the owners started out as insurance brokers but noticed that their clients needed more than just employee benefits- they needed full service support to help them manage the process, and other HR operations, end-to-end. Recognizing the market gap, they went on to offer turnkey solutions tailored to each clients specific needs, which led to greater demand as clients realized the value of this kind of comprehensive HR support.

Our client is seeking a PEO Sales Representative where you will be responsible for generating new business primarily through broker, CPA, insurance, and referral partner relationships. This individual will build strategic partnerships, identify opportunities, and position our client's solutions to business owners and decision-makers.

This is an ideal opportunity for a consultative sales professional with existing relationships in the PEO, payroll, benefits, or HR services industry who thrives in a remote, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and grow referral partnerships with insurance brokers, CPAs, financial advisors, HR consultants, and other strategic partners
  • Generate and manage a pipeline of qualified PEO opportunities
  • Conduct consultative sales presentations with prospective clients
  • Maintain consistent communication and relationship management with referral partners
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales goals
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and activity reporting within CRM systems
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitive offerings, and compliance changes impacting clients
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of successful sales experience in PEO industry
  • Experience developing business through broker/referral partnerships strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and virtual sales tools
  • Existing network of brokers or referral partners is a plus
