Peak Performance Therapies is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in New Britain, Connecticut. As an onsite Physical Therapist in our rehabilitation facility, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, physical therapy assistants, occupational therapists, and support staff. • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered physical therapy by managing the complete therapeutic process for an assigned group of patients, coordinating closely with their physicians and the wider patient care team.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate their therapeutic needs and determine the best course of individualized care, focusing on goal setting and patient engagement.
• Implement and direct patient-centered physical therapy interventions that comply with legal guidelines and ethical standards, ensuring effective treatment plans.
• Assess and evaluate the rehabilitation and functional status of patients to develop comprehensive care plans that promote recovery and improve overall health.
• Provide skilled therapeutic care in patients' homes when necessary, employing various techniques to align with the physician’s treatment plan.
• Educate patients, their families, and caregivers on exercises, therapeutic tools, and devices necessary for continued care and recovery outside of scheduled therapy sessions.
• Manage caseload effectively by prioritizing patient needs, assessing daily staffing requirements, and coordinating assignments for optimal team functionality.

Our facility serves a diverse patient population, encompassing individuals with various orthopedic conditions, postoperative care needs, and chronic illnesses. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in supporting these patients, utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance their recovery experience. • A valid Physical Therapy licensure in the state of Connecticut.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program is required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, to be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.
• No prior Physical Therapy experience is required, making this an ideal position for recent graduates or those entering the field.

• Experience in a clinical setting, especially in rehabilitation or outpatient orthopedics, is a plus but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with therapy management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and effectively communicate with diverse patient populations.

The Physical Therapist position offers a salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
