Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered physical therapy services to an assigned group of patients, ensuring comprehensive management of their therapeutic care.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, analyzing individual conditions to formulate and implement tailored care plans that focus on achieving measurable goals.
  • Provide or direct a majority of the physical therapy interventions, guiding patients through their rehabilitation processes across various therapeutic stages.
  • Utilize established legal and ethical practices to perform evaluations and treatment within the PT scope of practice.
  • Prioritize patient caseloads and daily staffing needs while coordinating assignments and hand-offs to enhance workflow and patient care efficacy.
  • Instruct patients, family members, and caregivers on therapy exercises, therapeutic appliances, and the proper use of prosthetic devices, ensuring engagement in their recovery process beyond therapy sessions.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes, collaborating with the healthcare team to adjust care plans as necessary.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility serves a diverse patient population, including adults recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic pain conditions, as well as pediatric patients with developmental needs. You will be instrumental in assessing and addressing a variety of physical therapy requirements, promoting mobility, strength, and overall wellness in individuals at different stages of life.

Qualifications
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in the state of New Jersey, or eligibility for licensure.
  • A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is necessary.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification; must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
  • No previous experience is required; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation or sports therapy is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and therapeutic modalities enhances application.
