Work Environment

This position is entirely onsite within our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in the vibrant West Palm Beach area. Your work environment will entail direct patient interactions in a supportive team setting alongside other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions, understanding their history, limitations, and goals to formulate effective treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement personalized therapy regimens, utilizing various techniques to help patients improve their physical capabilities and quality of life.
  • Document all evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with professional standards.
  • Maintain communication with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare team members to evaluate treatment outcomes and progress towards goals.
  • Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants and support staff, ensuring they adhere to therapeutic protocols and best practices in patient care.
  • Engage in ongoing evaluation of therapeutic interventions for effectiveness, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on patient progress and feedback.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The physical therapist will work primarily with patients recovering from surgery, injuries, and debilitating conditions, helping them regain strength, mobility, and independence. Our patient population is diverse, ranging from athletes to the elderly, each requiring a tailored approach to therapy based on their unique situations. You'll be instrumental in delivering care that not only addresses physical health but also enhances overall well-being through empathy and support.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in both written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective patient interaction and teamwork.
  • Basic knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems and proficiency in word processing applications.
Preferred Experience
