Work Environment

This position is onsite at our rehabilitation center, allowing for direct interaction with your colleagues and patients. Working in the supportive atmosphere of Peak Performance PT, you will collaborate with a team of skilled healthcare professionals who are committed to promoting recovery and improving the quality of life for our patients. You will enjoy a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, specifically from 2 PM to 8 PM, which allows for a work-life balance while serving our community with compassion.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual treatment needs, ensuring that care plans are tailored to achieve personal rehabilitation goals.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care strategies, monitoring patient progress throughout the treatment process.
• Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions and therapeutic modalities that align with patients' needs, consistently promoting positive health outcomes.
• Provide patient education to both patients and their families regarding exercise programs, therapy tasks, and the use of assistive devices to enhance at-home care.
• Manage a diverse caseload, prioritizing daily activities and coordinating staff assignments to ensure effective patient care delivery.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to encourage continuous improvement in rehabilitation efforts.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Peak Performance PT, you will work with a varied patient population, including children recovering from sports injuries and adults recovering from orthopedic surgeries and chronic conditions. Your role will entail understanding the unique needs and rehabilitation goals of each patient, adapting therapy approaches accordingly to foster engagement and optimize recovery.

Qualifications

• A valid and active Physical Therapy license in the state of California.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.
• Passion for enhancing patient experiences and outcomes through compassionate care.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a clinical setting is beneficial but not mandatory; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with pediatric and orthopedic populations is a plus.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems to document patient progress and treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits
