This remote, telehealth position offers therapists the flexibility to provide outstanding mental health care from the comfort of their own homes while making a profound impact on the lives of children, adolescents, and families.

About the Organization

At Peak Performance Psychotherapy Services, we believe that therapy should be engaging, tailored, and highly effective. Our mission is to enhance access to top-tier mental health care for diverse populations, with a commitment to authenticity, humor, compassion, and creativity. Our team cultivates a culture of acceptance and determination, making our practice a supportive environment for both clients and staff.

Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, allowing you the convenience to conduct therapy sessions through a secure telehealth platform. Our outpatient office environment prioritizes flexibility, ensuring that our therapists can maintain a healthy work-life balance while still meeting the demands of their clinical responsibilities. We are dedicated to creating a supportive virtual community where therapists can collaborate and thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess mental health diagnoses and design personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.
  • Maintain an active caseload of at least 27 client sessions per week, ensuring timely and documented progress on treatment outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including case managers, family members, and medical staff, to coordinate comprehensive services.
  • Utilize creative and evidence-based interventions to help clients set, meet, and exceed their therapeutic goals.
  • Prepare and submit all clinical documentation—including assessments, treatment plans, and session notes—adhering to our organizational standards and timelines.
  • Participate in weekly clinical staff meetings and ongoing training sessions to further enhance professional development and contribute to team culture.
  • Support a positive team dynamic, empowering your colleagues and sharing insights to continually improve our therapeutic practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse and dynamic client population that includes children, adolescents, and families facing a variety of mental health challenges. Your role will require a deep understanding of the unique needs of each demographic, which may include those from varied cultural backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, and identities. We strongly encourage applications from BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and bilingual candidates, as we strive for a workforce that reflects our community's diversity.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in behavioral sciences or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • A valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) clinical license, specifically PA licensure is required.
  • Proven experience in clinical documentation practices, including treatment plans, assessments, and case notes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on timely and accurate documentation.
  • Ability to establish and maintain appropriate professional boundaries while fostering trust and rapport with clients.
  • Experience working with a diverse clientele, exhibiting cultural competence and sensitivity.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 applications and Electronic Health Record systems, with experience in Valant being a plus.
  • Clear eligibility to pass a background check.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience utilizing telehealth platforms and those who have engaged in professional development workshops related to family therapy techniques will be viewed favorably. Knowledge of evidence-based practices within this field will also enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a sign-on bonus, we provide a range of benefits that support your professional and personal growth:

  • Flexible scheduling options to accommodate your lifestyle and commitments.
  • Paid holidays and additional leave for special occasions, including your birthday.
  • Access to a Continuing Education Library for ongoing professional enrichment.
  • Compensation for administrative hours, which encompasses consultation and documentation time.
  • Opportunities to engage in in-person therapy sessions, group therapy, and more, based on your preference.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Peak Performance Psychotherapy Services, we are committed to fostering career advancement. With access to continuous education and mentoring from seasoned professionals, you will have the opportunity to enhance your therapeutic skills and advance within our organization. We encourage our team members to pursue their professional goals, whether that's specializing in certain therapy modalities or taking on leadership roles within the organization.

Why Join Our Team
