Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and evaluations of clients’ mental health needs through virtual sessions.
• Create tailored, evidence-based treatment plans that reflect each client’s unique situation, goals, and preferences.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions, using a variety of therapeutic modalities suitable for addressing diverse mental health challenges.
• Document client progress meticulously, maintaining accurate clinical records and notes that comply with ethical standards and confidentiality requirements.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and mental health providers to ensure coordinated and holistic care for clients.
• Adhere to the National and State ethical guidelines for mental health professionals at all times.
• Engage in regular professional development activities, including workshops and training programs, to stay informed about advancements in therapy practices and techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Peak Performance, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your expertise will be especially valuable for clients across various age groups, including children, families, and adults. Experience with specialized populations, such as those struggling with substance abuse or other mental health disorders, will enhance the care you provide.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field is required to ensure a strong foundational knowledge of therapeutic practices.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oregon is essential for this position.
• A minimum of three years of demonstrable experience in mental health counseling is necessary, with an ability to effectively engage clients through telehealth.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are vital in fostering therapeutic relationships and delivering quality care.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while also being an effective team player within a remote work environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with specific populations, particularly children, families or individuals with diverse backgrounds, will be highly valued.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care, will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from USD 80,000 to USD 95,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
