Job Summary

The Digital Payments Operations Manager is responsible for the research and development, implementation, and ongoing management and strategy of the bank's end to end operations for digital payment channels, vendors, products, and services. Responsible for ensuring efficient payment processing across all channels. Performs other projects and duties as assigned.

Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepares executive level reporting for use by bank's board of directors and senior management.
  • Monitor transaction flows, system performance and operational key performance indicators to identify issues or opportunities for improvement.
  • Works with internal teams and risk management to ensure due diligence for processes and procedures.
  • Maintain strong controls, with fraud prevention and bank loss measures.
  • Ensure all payment processes comply with regulatory requirements and internal audit needs.
  • Properly escalates issues to management for awareness and resolutions.
  • Drives product strategy in alignment with key business and operational/functional partners.
  • Communicates effectively at all levels of the organization and fosters a positive working environment.
  • Focuses on product ownership.
  • Participates and leads aspects of the proposal development process.
  • Supports various internal project needs from planning, budgeting, and deliverables.
  • Contributes to the development of proposal pricing strategies.
  • Manages outside vendor relationships and hold accountable to quality standards and service level agreements.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team with the proper recruiting, onboarding, coaching, training and performance management. Adhere to company leadership standards.
  • Enables a strong partnership with cross functional teams including IT, Finance, Compliance, Retail Adm., BSA and Risk to establish department and bank goals.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of all bank regulatory requirement and policies and procedures.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to present and influence an audience.

  • Ability to work with all types of teammates, internal and external partners.
  • Strong understanding of digital payment methods, settlement processes and regulatory frameworks.

Industry and Work Experience

  • 8+ years of relevant digital payment management experience required.
  • 5+ years of management experience required.
  • 2+ years of experience in electronic payments or payment card industry required.

Academic

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field required.
  • Master's degree in business administration preferred.
