This role offers exposure to trading support, portfolio operations, client service, account onboarding, and Schwab platform operations. Trading & Operations Associate Position

Summary
  • Detail-oriented operations professional to support Schwab trading, client service, and portfolio operations. Our client is a client-centric, research-driven investment management firm focused on fundamental research and customized portfolios. This role is ideal for an operations professional with relevant experience in financial services who is seeking to broaden their exposure to trading, client service, and portfolio operations while working in a collegial and rewarding environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with trade entry, reconciliation, settlement, and monitoring daily activity Support rebalancing, cash management, and maintain trade documentation
  • Respond to client inquiries and assist with onboarding and account setup Process account forms, transfers, and maintain accurate client records
  • Coordinate with portfolio managers, custodians (Schwab), and internal teams
  • Provide backup coverage for Schwab desk operations as needed

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2–5 years in financial services, operations, or trading support preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
  • Excellent communication and client service skills
  • Experience with Schwab or similar platforms and Excel preferred
