Job description

Crescent Capital Group is seeking an experienced candidate to join the Capital Markets group as an Associate for the CLO Management business. The candidate will join an established $6bn CLO platform with a collaborative team focused on growing the business.ย 

Responsibilities:

  • Monthly / Quarterly Deal Reporting. Conduct review and reconciliation of monthly CLO Trustee reports and quarterly waterfalls
  • Breaks Management. Assist trading desk to resolve position breaks with outsourced CLO administrator
  • Trade Testing. Perform pro-forma hypothetical trade testing for CLOs, while proactively raising issues / possible test failures
  • Effective Date & Closing Date Process. Manage effective date reporting and closing date tie-out process for new CLOs
  • Maintenance of Portfolio Management Tool. Maintain proprietary excel-based portfolio management tool, including updating on a daily / weekly basis to account for new loan allocations, trading activity, rating/price movements, etc
  • Internal Reporting. Update and maintain weekly / monthly / quarterly portfolio statistics and analytics that are provided to portfolio managers, CLO structuring professionals, and traders
  • Ad-Hoc Investor Analysis. Provide periodic portfolio analytics to address investor questions and/or information requests

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 3-6 years of CLO operations experience, ideally from a collateral manager, auditor, trustee, or investment bank
  • Strong CLO and bank loan product knowledge
  • Ability to interpret governing documents for CLOs and Credit Facilities
  • Experience with CLO compliance modules (Solvas/CDO Suite, Wall Street Office, etc.)
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to manipulate large datasets
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player who demonstrates maturity, integrity, and professionalism
  • Intellectually curious, highly collaborative, and intrinsically self-motivated

Benefits:

  • The US base salary range for this full-time position is $135,000-$155,000
  • Crescent's salary ranges are determined by role, duration of direct experience, and internal and external pay equity considerations
