Job description

Patron Services Associates

Reports to: Patron Services Manager

Department: External Relations

Compensation: Minimum Wage


The Patron Services Associate is a part-time entry level position that reports directly to the Patron Services Manager and serves as a direct line between the O'Neill and its summer audiences. Several Associate positions are available for the season, to be scheduled for various shifts throughout the summer. Excellent option for reliable individuals looking to pick up additional income outside of a summer class schedule or primary employment.


Primary responsibilities include:

  • Staffing the Box Office when necessary, assisting the Patron Services Manager with day to day ticket sales transactions;
  • House managing when needed, which includes ushering, program distribution, and check-in;
  • Staffing Gene's General Store and/or a merchandise table in rotation with other O'Neill staff, monitoring and replenishing inventory, and communicating store needs to the appropriate departments;
  • Serving as support staff for special events throughout the summer
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/requirements:

  • Proficiency with Google Suite and/or some familiarity with working in a database
  • Excellent customer service skills, hospitality experience preferred
  • Upbeat and positive attitude
  • Good sense of humor
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to be scheduled at night and on weekends required.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the O'Neill for each shift
