A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PATIENT ACCESS SUPERVISOR
Working as the patient access supervisor you will have the opportunity to impact not only the patient experience but the employee experience as well. You will be responsible for the entire employee life cycle and be part of an outstanding leadership team. While we do provide training, a sound understanding of leadership principles will help this person succeed.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PATIENT ACCESS SUPERVISOR
  • High school diploma or equivalent, bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a medical field, or a technical college degree related to medical practices desired.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Medical Terminology
  • 3 years previous experience in medical patient access, verification of benefits and/or call center, and the following are strongly preferred: commercial and government insurance ID cards, workers' comp registration requirements, training staff, writing procedural documentation, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (including formulas).
  • Valid and current Wisconsin Driver's License required
