Baptist Health is looking for a Patient Access Supervisor to join our team in Paducah, KY

The Patient Access Supervisor assists the Patient Access Manager/Regional Director with management and provision of leadership to Patient Access department performing duties which include insurance verification, pre-registration, collection of patient payments, document distribution, financial triage, and registration. The Patient Access Supervisor assists the Patient Access Manager/Regional Director with tactical and operational decisions to sustain a high level of customer service and to generate optimal financial results. The goals of the unit are to provide excellent customer service, improve patient access to care and reduce operating expenses associated with payment denials/delays. The supervisor is responsible for assistance with further development of Patient Access to incorporate additional patient services and business functions as set forth by the AVP, Patient Access and Financial Clearance Services

Requirements

Minimum one year experience in Access Services related field (registration, patient accounting, and financial services) or one year of supervisory/management experience required.

High School Diploma or equivalent.
