Job description

NOW HIRING BARISTAS FOR A CORPORATE CAFFE!

$20.50/hr + $20/day in meal vouchers

Location: Cupertino, CA

Do you possess a real passion for food, coffee, and espresso? We have an awesome job for you.

As a Barista/FOHA, you will play a rare role blending culinary arts with extraordinary service. You will be responsible for your espresso bar, health & safety standards, standards for speed, quality, and consistency with a high level of customer service and guest relations. Most significant of all, do you have a love for making a phenomenal espresso? We will teach you everything you need in our Barista training program where you will thrive with our hands-on trainers guiding you through our program designed to bring our knowledge to your unique style. This position is based on site.

Day to Day:

  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Creating and serving up tasty Coffee & Tea based drinks in a timely manner
  • Keeping counters clean and stocked -cleaning soda machines -brewing coffee for breakfast service -brewing tea for lunch service -answering customer questions -cutting lemons

  • Strong listening skills and verbal communication to connect with our customers.

Requirements:

  • We look for talent with 1-4 Years of experience in customer service or high-volume food service - preferably larger, innovative corporate programs, in house or 3rd party but may also be food & beverage experience in a full-service hotel, resort or multi-restaurant chain.
  • Extraordinarily Service Oriented - a demonstrable high level of customer service is mandatory
  • Dynamic and agile - highly organized, ability to switch between locations and job duties
  • Approved Food Handler's Card and non-slip shoes prior to first day of work
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

  • Guest services: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Barista experience: 1 year (Required)

Work Conditions:

  • You will spend time sitting, standing and walking throughout our Caffes.
  • Standing 100% of the time
  • We need to lift to 50 pounds in the Caffe
