Mission of Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary


The EFDA reports to the Practice Administrator. The mission of the EFDA is to help facilitate and perform restorations on patients while keeping them comfortable. They will be able to discuss what they are doing and why they are doing it to the patient. They will always be kind and compassionate to the patient’s needs.


Schedule & Availability

  • Status: Part-Time
  • Days Required: Fridays only


Key Performance Indicators

  • Help same day production.
  • Increase overall monthly production

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing duties within your realm of licensure to help the flow of the day and increase same day opportunities.
  • Seeing patients to restore their teeth back to health and discuss prevention measures with patients.
  • Flexibly perform traditional dental assisting and chairside duties as needed to support the broader team.
